SensMar manufacture direct replacements for the obsolete and long time discontinued KDG Instruments Solartron Mobrey Self Powered Contents Gauges. This being the Mersey, Thames or Tees series of contents gauges.
KDG Instruments Mersey MIT/MIS gauges comprised of a mild steel sensor, tinned braided copper capillary, (in tank) plastic compounded coated copper capillary (outside of tank), Aluminium indicator, mild steel bulkhead plate for tank penetration.
KDG Instruments Mersey MS gauges comprised of a mild steel sensor, connected to plastic compounded coated copper capillary to the aluminium indicator.
KDG Instruments Thames series of gauges had either a brass sensor or glass loaded polyester construction connected via plastic compounded coated copper capillary to the aluminium indicator or Glass loaded polyester Polyrad indicator.
SensMar range of gauges include
ALL sensors comprising of 316 St/St fully welded construction (internal MIT/MIS, external flanged MS, or external screwed ES type), fully welded St/St bulkhead plates (internal mounted MIT/MIS sensors only require these), St/St indicators, St/St armoured internal capillary (for internal tank sensors MIT/MIS) and fine bore heavy duty copper with an outer sheath of fire retardant grade plastic compound external capillaries (outside of the tank from bulkhead penetration or externally mounted sensors to indicators), making these gauges far more suited to the various liquid level hydrostatic gauging applications in the Marine and Process industries.
SensMar gauges are all hand calibrated (not computer predicted scales) which enables higher accuracy, with multi scales optional in calibration.
